Drama Program:

A.C.T.S., CCA’s drama club under the direction of Ms. Debbie Thomas, meets Fridays during lunch to practice skits and to learn improvisation techniques.  The goal of this club is to coach innate dramatic forte and to use such in available arenas.  Skits are performed in chapel, and the spring musical gives audience for such talent.  Occasional opportunities may arise for A.C.T.S. to visit churches on Sunday mornings as well.

Music Program:

Elementary—(Grades K-5) music is taught weekly to all students at the elementary level.  Choral music, rhythm, and beginning music reading is emphasized.  Musical selections often enhance the content taught in elementary classrooms.  Students have various opportunities to perform throughout the year in settings such as the Christmas Concert, Grandparents Day, and Chapel programs.

Secondary- (Grades 6-12) includes music theory, music appreciation, and choral singing.  Grades 9-12 also learn basic composition skills.  Opportunities for student involvement are given throughout the year through various chapel presentations as well as occasional festival participations.  The secondary chorus is a part of the music elective and meets one class period a week.

Worship Band is open to secondary students who are academically eligible.  The band meets once a week to rehearse. They will have opportunity to lead worship through chapel and possibly through occasional Sunday morning invitations.

Private instrumental and voice instruction is available for an additional fee.  Lessons are given in         half-hour segments.
