Activities

There are many activities offered at CCA. Our goal is to help each students find their God given talents and abilities through academics as well as sports, fine arts activities, and leadership opportunities. Below are some of the activities offered at CCA.

Elementary Soccer Program

The YMCA will be running our Elementary soccer program.  K-2 will meet on Tuesdays and 3-5 will meet on Thursday.  The program will run from September 13 to October 20.  Click here to find out more.

Socials

Middle/High School socials will take place multiple times throughout the school year. Socials are an opportunity for the students to hangout with friends, play games, and have lots of fun in a safe, Christian environment. Socials are open to Middle and High school  students.  Home school students are welcome. (additional fees apply).

Without Famine

Each year the Middle/High School students participate in a 30 Hour Famine. The students raise money and go without food for 30 hours to help them understand the hunger problem in our world. The money raised is sent to organizations and groups to help people in the US and around the world. The famine takes place in during Catapult week each year.

 Chess Team

Students have an opportunity to learn, practice and compete in an in-house chess tournament.  Chess practices will be Wednesday’s after school for K-5 graders.  The top chess students will continue to meet to get ready for up-coming tournaments.  Mrs. Monelli will be the chess coach. 

 Worship Band

Worship band meets twice weekly during lunch under the guidance of Ms. Debbie Thomas.   Worship band is open to secondary students who are academically eligible.  The band meets twice a week during lunch to rehearse. The main purpose of worship band is to train students to use their gifts in worship. 

 Sports Manager

We are looking for students who would like to help our sports teams by getting equipment ready, keeping books, etc…  Students would travel with the teams to their games.  Students will report to Mr. Lattin for tasks and directions.
